Prop 65
1.Prop 65 is a consumer "right to know" law. In addition to being exempt, businesses may not expose individuals to a chemical on this list without "clearly and reasonably" informing them (Prop 65 warns) or release the chemical into drinking water sources.

2.Why is it so important to comply with PROP 65?
The list of hazardous chemicals is long and frequently updated. Whether the product is already widely available or new to the market, the company should verify that the product meets the legal requirements and ensure access to the California market. Violations could result in civil penalties of up to $2,500 per violation per day.
