On November 2,2023, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) released a new version of KDB784748 D01, updating the FCC label and usage rules, stating that there are subtle style differences between the rectangular FCC logo in 47 CFR 2.1074 and the three acute FCC signs listed in https://www.fcc.gov/logos, both in Figure 1 and 2.

FCC Labeling notes:

1. FCC Logo applies only to SDOC products, with no mandatory requirement. FCC Logo Is voluntary, according to the FCC regulations section 2.1074, under the FCC SDoC certification process, customers can voluntarily choose to use the FCC Logo, no longer mandatory.

2. For FCC SDoC, the responsible party needs to provide the declaration documents for sales. The responsible party shall be the manufacturer, assembly plant, importer, retailer, or licensor. The US FCC has made the following provisions for the responsible parties:

1) The responsible party must be a local American company;

2) The responsible party shall require that the products, test reports and corresponding records shall be provided in the FCC market to ensure that the products meet the FCC SDoC procedures;

3) The responsible party shall add the conformity declaration documents to the documents attached to the equipment.

3. As for the statement document, it is required to be shipped and sold together with the products. The declaration under FCC Regulation 2.1077 contains the following:

1) Product information: such as product name, model, etc.;

2) FCC Conformity warnings: Due to the different products, the warnings are also different;

3) Information of the US responsible party: the company name, address, contact telephone number or Internet contact information.
