These problems usually occur because the hardware microphone chosen by the manufacturer has insufficient bandwidth, the frequency response of the power amplifier is insufficient, and a single microphone is selected in the early stage of development that does not allow noise reduction according to Google regulations. Every choice made by each manufacturer in the early stages of project development will affect the difficulty of rectification by developers and whether the project can be completed on time.
Replacing the hardware is not just changing it once and for all. The hardware model is declared when submitting the certification data. If the hardware change is made during the test, the modification of the data (such as the configuration table) should be included and the data should be re-reviewed. In order to avoid repeated work during the certification period and a lot of time waste, all manufacturers must confirm whether the selected hardware meets the standard requirements of C P and Android Auto in the early stage of the project.
