The main components of in-car voice communication are voice communication, emergency calls and speech recognition:
1)Voice communication function: It can fully meet the daily call demand, such as Bluetooth hands-free call, CarPlay, etc., so that the driver can use the mobile phone safely in the process of focusing on driving, and effectively avoid the distraction caused by holding the mobile phone.
2)Emergency call function: mainly used for emergency rescue of vehicles, such as E-Call, B-Call, etc. When the vehicle is in an accident or facing an emergency situation, the emergency call device can be automatically or manually triggered to quickly connect to the public safety response point and timely obtain assistance.
3)Voice recognition function: it allows the driver to operate a variety of vehicle functions, such as navigation setting, music playback, window control, etc., through simple voice commands, greatly improving the convenience and safety of driving, so that the driver does not need to be distracted by manual operation, focusing on road conditions.
The in-vehicle communication system undoubtedly brings great convenience to car owners making driving more convenient and safe. For example, Germanys voice communication testing standards adopt VDA, Russias emergency call system follows the GOST series standards, while Europe adopts the ITU-T series standards.
4.Test Scheme
The test of the in-car voice terminal usually needs to be carried out in the vehicle audio test room, which requires that the ambient noise of the environment must be low enough, and there must be no interference from reverberation.
In the test process of the in-car voice terminal, a background noise playback system will be used. The system will first collect the background noise of the vehicle under various driving conditions, and then play it back in the car to simulate the noise produced by the vehicle in real driving conditions.
The head and shoulder simulator placed in the drivers seat is equipped with an artificial ear and an artificial mouth, used to simulate the drivers "listening" and "speaking" processes. Additionally, a comprehensive tester simulates the base station signal to encode and decode the voice signals of the mobile phone, and then transmits the test results through a digital-to-analog conversion module to the system for data analysis and result output.
The whole test process aims to simulate the real driving process of the vehicle and restore the actual application status of users to the greatest extent, so as to accurately test the quality of voice calls.
