In January 2026, the Bluetooth SIG introduced a new Contributing Adopte membership tier, with corresponding fee adjustments.
As a Contributor Member, your company can also join the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) to develop standards that drive next-generation wireless innovation. The first annual certification fee (for purchasing RN, formerly known as DID) is 33% off the original price.
1. Membership Types and Fees
1. Adopter Members: Free to apply and register without a membership fee
2. Contributing Adopter Members
lFor small businesses (annual revenue under $100 million), the current annual membership fee is $3,200, which will increase to $3,500 after March 1, 2026.
lFor large enterprises (with annual revenue exceeding $100 million), the current annual membership fee is $15,200, which will increase to $16,500 after March 1, 2026.
3. Associate Members
lFor small businesses (annual revenue under $100 million), the current annual membership fee is $10,350, which will increase to $11,250 after March 1, 2026.
lFor large enterprises (with annual revenue exceeding $100 million), the current annual membership fee is $48,300, which will increase to $52,500 after March 1, 2026.
2、product qualification fee
1、Adopter Members: Full product qualification fees are required, currently priced at $11,040, with the fee increasing to $12,000 after March 1, 2026.
2、The product qualification certification fee for Contributing Adopter Members is currently $11,040, and will increase to $12,000 after March 1, 2026.
The first annual product certification fee is 33% off the original price, currently priced at $7,360. After March 1, 2026, the fee will increase to $8,000.
3、The product qualification certification fee for Associate Members is $5,520 and will increase to $6,000 after March 1, 2026. (Each qualification fee is discounted by 50%)
3、RN validity period
Prepaid Product Qualification Fees are based on the receipt number and are valid according to the membership level:
1、RN numbers purchased by Adopter Members are valid for 6 months from the date of payment and are non-refundable after this period.
2、RN numbers purchased by Contributing Adopter Members are valid for 6 months from the date of payment and are non-refundable after this period.
3、RN numbers purchased by Associate and Promoter Members are valid for 12 months from the date of payment and are non-refundable after this period.
