Wireless car play
Release Time:2024-08-16 14:48Views:

In recent years, wireless car play has been used by more and more users, and supports more car brands and models. You have experienced the convenience of the wireless car play.

The difference between wired car play and wireless car play, the most intuitive feeling is that the data line, wireless car play does not need a data line connection, using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. So what is the order of the wireless car play connections? See figure 1:

General process:

1.iphone Bluetooth connection with the car and machine (discovery, setting, matching, etc.);

2.Send the Wi-Fi certificate to the iphone;

3.iphone After the Wi-Fi connection is completed, complete the creation of the car play session;

4.Bluetooth disconnected.

Looking at the above process, you should get a clue: wireless car play relies on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth is disconnected when the car play session is created (the car play can be used normally). Simply put, Bluetooth is the preparatory work, after completion, you do not need Bluetooth.

If you are using wireless car play, you can observe that after you get in the car, the iphone turns on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. When the central control screen of your car shows the car play interface, is your Bluetooth disconnected? Even if not disconnected, you manually close it will not affect your car play use.

So why disconnect? The reason is: avoid interference.

Most of the wireless car play we currently use, Wi-Fi only supports the 2.4 GHz band, while Bluetooth also uses the 2.4 GHz band. If the two frequencies overlap, they will interfere with each other. There will be a slow connection speed, no connection, weak signal, Bluetooth audio jump and other phenomena. Wireless car play, relying on Wi-Fi, if there is interference, it may lead to slow data transmission, resulting in lag. Or the connection speed is slow, the connection is not a good phenomenon. So, Apple will require the car play to disconnect Bluetooth after the connection is completed in order to avoid interference.

In addition to disconnecting Bluetooth, another solution is to use a Wi-Fi that supports the 5GHz band.

Support 5GHz band Wi-Fi car play, the current original car support is relatively small. Third-party car play modules or transfer boxes (wired car play to wireless car play) on the market are already partially supported. It is recommended that you choose this support of 5GHz car play when choosing.

Officials also mentioned that Wi-Fi that supports the 5GHz band is strongly recommended.

In the car, we will also use some wireless devices, such as our apple watch, car data recorder, car audio (DSP) equipment and so on. These devices all need to use Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, so there is the possibility of interference, slow, disconnected, intermittent, and so on.

If you are using a wireless car play and encounter a similar phenomenon, you can check whether it is the interference caused by other wireless devices. In addition to wireless car play, this also happens when we use wireless devices everyday.

Any of the following symptoms may be caused by interference from the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal:

lThe device cannot connect or remain connected;

lSlow connection speed and weak signal strength;

lBluetooth audio jumps forward, on and off, interrupted, or static noise or buzzing;

lThe pointer moves unstable or a "jump".

Common microwave oven, fluorescent lamp, wireless camera belong to the interference source, if you are using the wireless mouse, wireless, touchpad, wireless keyboard, may appear lag, mouse pointer is not stable phenomenon, jump, you can try to stay away from these interference source, or close to your Wi-Fi router or bluetooth device, there is using 5GHz band as far as possible.
