1、why CB certification

The main objective of the CB system is to promote international trade by promoting the harmonization of national standards and international standards, as well as the cooperation of product certification bodies, so as to make manufacturers closer to the ideal goal of "one test, many applications".

2、Introduction to CB Certification

1) The CB system (electrical products qualified testing and certification IEC system) is IECEE operation - an international system, IECEE member certification bodies based on IEC standards for electrical product safety performance testing, the test results of the CB test report and CB test certificate in IECEE member states to obtain mutual recognition of the system. The aim is to reduce international trade barriers arising from having to meet different national certification or approval guidelines.

2) IECEE is the abbreviation of the International Electrotechnical Commission Electrical Products Joint Testing and Certification organization.

3、 CB certified product range

The products covered by the CB system are within the scope of IEC standards recognized by the IECEE system.

For export to Saudi Arabia, CB certification is required for the following products:

1. Around the phone; 2. Dishwasher; 3. Live water pump; 4.TV (TV); 5. Move your computer.

4、CB Certification process

1) Data and sample review;

2) Formal opening of the case;

3) Test;

4) Report preparation;

5) Submission and certification;

6) Registration of CB to IECEE.

Note: For the certification project for export to Saudi Arabia, the following two steps are required:

1) Registration of CE to IECEE;

2) Customs clearance of COC goods.
