一、What is the E-MARK certification?

E-Mark, also known as the European Common Market, for steam vehicles and their safety parts, noise and exhaust gas, all need to meet the certification requirements in accordance with the EU laws [EEC Directives] and EEC regulations [ECE Regulation], through the products, that is, to ensure the safety of driving and environmental protection requirements. E-Mark has different certification countries, for example, the E-Mark mark is E13 / e13.

E-mark comes in two forms: E-mark and e-mark. E-mark is based on EEC Regulation (ECE Regulation) as the test standard, so it is called ECE certification, mainly for vehicle parts products; and e-mark certification is the EU Directive (EC Direction) as the test standard, also known as EEC certification, mainly for vehicles. E-mark certification and e-mark certification are combined together, collectively known as E / e-mark certification.

二、E-MARK certification scope.

四、The certification process of E-MARK

1. Certification application —— Prepare technical data and samples.

2. Data preparation —— According to the certification of the requirements of the country, prepare the relevant certification materials.

3. Product Testing —— Send the samples to be tested to the designated laboratory for formal testing.

4. Submission for review —— Laboratory shall submit the complete report to the National Ministry of Communications for review.

5. Factory inspection —— First application requires factory inspection.

6. Issue Certificate —— After verification, the European national transportation department formally issues the E / e-mark certificate.

五、E-MARK is different from EN50498

1. Scope of E-MARK:

(1) Including headlights, glass, anti-collision airbags, electronic products, etc.;

(2) For the electronic and electrical parts with anti-disturbance related functions (Immunity Related Functions), that is, the use of products directly or indirectly affect the safety of vehicles, the safety of drivers, passengers and passers-by, need to conduct compulsory E-mark type approval type approval certification, obtain the certificate;

(3) The product is only E LOGO to enter the EU market

2. EN50498 Scope of use: consumer automotive electronic products (vehicle charger, on-board refrigerator, on-board heater, on-board DVD, on-board GPS / Bluetooth, etc.)

3. For making EN50498 products, E-MARK can be made at the same time. If you must make E-MARK products, there will be risks in making EN50498.
