KCC full name-Korean Commumications commission
KCC addresses the requirements of electromagnetic compatibility of information products, and controls the certification of wireless communication and communication products, including electrical communication equipment, wireless radio frequency products, information technology equipment, etc. The KCC mark is a symbol issued by the Telecommunications Research Institute (Korea Radio Research Agency) (RAA).
KCC/KC distinguish
KCC certification: it is for RF products, test items (including EMC + RED + SAR);
KC certification: it is for safety (Safety), LVD and battery (battery KC test project is the same as K62133);
purpose:
1）KC is a kind of certification for consumers to better understand the certification marks on the products they buy, and to reduce the burden of the product manufacturers.
2）KCC is a certification system for broadcasting and communication equipment, which requires that all produced, imported or selling certification products of broadcasting and communication equipment should obtain KCC certification first.
Instructions for KCC certification:
1）The holder should be a local importer or production factory;
Enterprises applying for KC for the first time need to apply for a KC ID number first;
2）Battery application for KC certification factory needs to have a ISO9001 system certificate;
3）TWS Bluetooth headset applies for KC certification. If the circuit structure of the left and right ears is different, you need to apply according to two items (under the premise of affecting EMC and RF). In addition, the charging case is KC-EMC according to the requirements of the issuing agency.
KC certification type
According to the product category, KCC is mainly divided into the following three certification types:
1. compliance certification Conformity Certification: wireless communication equipment, such as telephone, regulator, fax machine, etc.
2. Compatibility registration Conformity registration: Electrical appliance category.
3. temporary certification Interim Certification: for the temporary no standard.
