I. Introduction to Taiwan NCC Certification

NCC, short for The National Communications Commission of Taiwan, mainly controls the communication information equipment in circulation and use in the Taiwan market:

1. LPE: Low Power Equipment (such as Bluetooth and WIFI equipment);

2. TTE: Telecommunications Terminal Equipment (such as mobile phones and tablet devices).

Ii. NCC certified product range:

1. Low power RF motors with operating frequency of 9kHz to 300GHz, such as: Wireless network (WLAN) products (including IEEE 802.11a/b/g), UNII, blue bud products, RFID, ZigBee, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, wireless headset microphone, radio intercom, radio remote control toys, all kinds of radio remote control, all kinds of wireless anti-piracy devices, etc.

2. Public switched telephone network equipment (PSTN) products, such as wired telephone (including VOIP network telephone), automatic alarm equipment, telephone answering machine, fax machine, remote control device, wired telephone wireless master and secondary machines, key telephone system, data equipment (including ADSL equipment), incoming call display terminal equipment, 2.4GHz radio frequency telecommunications terminal equipment, etc.

3. Land mobile communication network equipment (PLMN) products, such as wireless broadband access mobile station equipment (WiMAX mobile terminal equipment), GSM 900/DCS 1800 mobile telephone and terminal equipment (2G mobile phones), the third generation mobile communication terminal equipment (3G mobile phones), etc.

Iii. Description of the proportion of NCC marks

NCC logo making method:

1. Labels or prints should be cast on the location of the equipment body in an appropriate proportion. There is no maximum/minimum size regulation, and clarity is the principle.

2. The NCC mark, together with the inspection number, shall be attached to the product in accordance with the regulations, and shall be of a single frequency and color, which shall be clear and easy to identify.

Sample production of qualified test labels

In order to meet the needs of Taiwan's trade facilitation customs clearance, the sample of conformity label for radio frequency equipment and telecommunication terminal equipment under telecom control has been revised from January 1, 1995 as follows: For low-power radio frequency motor and wireless telecommunication terminal equipment with conformity number obtained before December 31, 1994, if the conformity number needs to be converted to the new code of 1995 (clearance code)

4. NCC Certification process

1. The entrusting Party shall provide product information to the agency for evaluation and quotation

2. The entrusting party shall confirm and sign back the quotation, fill in the application form, provide samples and materials, arrange the payment (the first one), and open the case

3. Arrange product forecast and review data

4. If there is any problem in the test and data, arrange rectification and retest until qualified

5. License-issuing organs shall carry out eyewitness test after the test and data are qualified

6. After the completion of the eyewitness test, license-issuing organs shall issue the test report and issue the certificate

7. The entrusting party shall pay off the amount (balance), get the certificate report, and close the case
